Sunrise Lakes Notice It appears the Angling Trust have yet again managed to revert the status of angling and we have the go ahead to fish, with certain restrictions once again. As a consequence of this latest statement we can allow anglers within the local vicinity to fish at Sunrise Lakes. https://anglingtrust.net/covid-19/All current rules still apply but more importantly the government guidelines and rules regarding Covid 19 must also be applied. We have taken our guidance for a safe re opening from recommendations given in the Phase One reference by the Angling Trust where possible (Please refer to their website for further information) To keep things as safe as possible we require of you the following ; 1. Angling to be undertaken on a solitary basis - social distancing in accordance with government guidelines must be maintained at all times. 2. Local fishing only - anglers must follow current Government guidance on travel for the benefit of recreational activity. 3. Bringing your payment ready to post in a sealed envelope. 4. Absolutely NO sharing of pegs or fishing tackle 5. Maintaining your own space to fish, being no closer than 15 metres to the next angler 6. Maintaining safe distances from others at all times in any circumstance 7. Use your own landing nets, compulsory 8. NO KEEPNETS 9. NO COMPETITION FISHING until further notice. 10. Shared onsite facilities to remain closed including toilets. 11. Anyone displaying symptoms of COVID-19 or who shares a household with anyone displaying symptoms, should not go fishing and should continue to follow government advice on isolation. 12. Respect others around you and more so their personal safe space and maintain distance. 13. ABSOLUTELY NO LITTER !!! Hopefully the above guidance will allow us all to get back to our beloved sport and ensure most importantly that we all stay as safe as is humanly possible to avoid this killer disease.
