BEGINNERS can expect an introduction to the world of angling with lessons covering; Health and Safety, environment awareness, and good angling practices. The latter being the secret to fish welfare, conservation and a base knowledge that will remain with you throughout your angling years. A solid platform on which to build your growing knowledge of this great sport.
There are no guarantees when attempting to catch fish owing to many so many different factors, such as weather conditions, temperatures, condition of water, fish movement, etc. But undoubtedly knowledge will increase your chances no end. John has yet to have a pupil who hasn't caught fish under his instruction!! So it seems his instruction is well worthwhile in enhancing a pupils angling ability and ultimate enjoyment of fishing. Learning things such as Angling basics, water craft, types and varieties of baits, angling techniques, targeting of specific species are just a few of the areas John can cover within his coaching.
The pupils can expect a structured lesson or series of lessons if required that will be tailored to their individual needs and wishes. John will offer advice and future helpful support should it be required to all pupils under his instruction and guidance. If you invest in good sound instruction at the start of your angling career it will set you off on the correct path in future years. John sees so many bad practices, poor catch success and ultimately individuals falling out with the sport. This could be so easily avoided through investment in a good angling coach and ultimately cost you far less in the future but indeed provide massive enjoyment for ever more. |

John will discuss your requirements and arrange to meet you or the person you may be representing at a given time and date suitable to both parties. Following a booking he will then draft a tutorial outline on which to base his instruction. On the day of the pre-arranged session he will usually be at the venue 1 ½ hours before the coaching session, preparing a swim to be fished and all the kit/tackle required. The ticket price will be included should the lesson be held at Sunrise Lakes. All bait requirements will also be included in the cost. After your comprehensive session is finished John will discuss any further requirements and then spend the next hour or so packing up the kit!!. So overall maybe £25 per hour is not quite as expensive as possibly first presumed! John says with every lesson a further 3 to 5 hours of his time is invested in making the session a success, but no charge is made made for this. Only actual pre-arranged coaching time will be charged to the customer!! Good value as we're sure you'll agree.
